Privacy Policy

Audiobooks+ is a mobile application by Inkitt GmbH, Inselstraße 9, 10179 Berlin, Germany, represented by its CEO Ali Albazaz ("we", "us", "our"). This page summarises how we handle your personal data in the Audiobooks+ app and on audiobooks.inkitt.com.

What we collect

• Account data — the email address or Apple/Google identifier you sign in with, and your user ID.
• Usage data — the books you open, your listening progress, points balance and purchases, so your library syncs across devices.
• Technical data — device type, operating system, app version, crash reports and IP address, used to keep the app working.
• Support data — anything you send us when you submit a request, including the account details attached to your message.

Why we use it

To provide and sync your account and purchases, to answer support requests, to detect fraud and abuse, and to improve the app. We rely on the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests, or your consent, depending on the purpose.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run Audiobooks+ — app stores and payment processors (Apple, Google), hosting, analytics and crash reporting, email delivery, and our support desk. They process data on our instructions and under data-processing agreements.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or ask for a copy of your data. Email privacy@inkitt.com or use the "Submit a request" button at the top of this page. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists, and delete or anonymise it after account deletion, except where the law requires us to keep records (for example purchase receipts).
