 The number of points needed to unlock a chapter depends on the book and how far into it you are.

How point pricing works

Chapters typically start at 10 points and can cost morew depending on the story and your listening progress. The cost is always shown before you confirm an unlock, so you'll know exactly what to expect.

As you read further into a book, chapters may cost more points. This is part of how we support our authors.

Some content can't be unlocked with points

Every chapter in Audiobooks+ can be unlocked with points — or for free by waiting for the countdown timer to run out. There is nothing that points cannot unlock.

How to get more points

Tap the Get Points tab at the bottom of the app to see all available ways to earn free points — including watching short video ads and completing offers.
